When the temperatures begin to drop here on Long Island then it is time to schedule anti-desiccant spray for your broad-leaved evergreens in order to protect them from the harsh cold winter.

What is desiccation & Anti-dessicant spray?

Desiccation is classified as extreme drying due to moisture loss from leaves transpiring. Certain trees are highly susceptible to winter burn from the extended below-freezing temperatures and winds.

The anti-desiccant spray is an organic-based spray application that lasts for approximately three months throughout the winter and helps to prevent water loss from your trees and shrubs.
